I just checked my drink poll. And it looks like Dr. Pepper is the perferred drink (so far). If this is not what you want you need to vote.

This happened awhile ago. But I read an e-mail that reminded me of this. Jack and I went to see World Trade Center. And during the movie he was very concerned with why someone would bomb the Word Trade Center. I told him that the people responsible didn't like the USA or our politics and he said "Why don't they just go back to their country than?" He wasn't being rude or trying to be funny. He really thinks that if you don't like where you are living than move. Take all the blah blah out of the middle and it comes down to go back to your own country and let us live the way we want.

Howdy Y'all
So out here in the prairies of Kansas there is not a lot to do. So Jack and I are always trying to find new things to do, to keep us occupied. I love to take the Jeep out and find some big mud holes. Jack doesn't like that cause he's "scared we will crash". When it's warm outside Jack and I take our little razor scooters around the block. I'm sure I look a little silly on the scooter. But it is fun. Pretty soon we will start practicing catching and throwing the baseball. Jack is excited because he will be in the rookies this year instead of t-ball. So he thinks he's all grown and stuff. I think this year we are going to play some street hockey at the cousins (so get ready). I got Rollerblades at Christmas this year. So did all the nieces and nephews. So now all we need is some sticks and a puck. I might need some extra padding. I used to Rollerblade about 10 years ago. Matt said he's not going to pay my medical bills. I'm not as daring in my old age. My son and his cousins found a grass hill at the park. They thought it would be fun to ride their "Razor" scooters down the hill. So Zane steps up to go first and he didn't want to. So Jack decides he'll go first and than steps back. So Boss man (the oldest) steps up and takes off down the hill. He was just flying down the hill looking cool. Than he hit a bump, at the bottom. And flipped end over end. It looked cool, but he broke his arm. I'm glad I didn't try it. I probably would have broke a hip or something. So we are ready for spring!!!...

In our little branch of the church we get a great opportunity to feed the missionary's a lot. And we just had one leave to go home. He is from the Marshall Islands. Jack is so sad to see him go. He has a great spirit and is so excited about the gospel. His family are converts to the church. When he first arrived, he was asked to stand up and tell where he is from and to tell a little about himself. So he related this story : "When I first came on my mission, I was at a grocery store. And there was an older lady trying to load a heavy bag of dog food onto her cart. I asked if I could help her and she stood up and slapped me across the face. I was really mad and offended so I tried to think of what Jesus would do. He would turn the other cheek. So I slapped her back." (everyone in the congregation gasped, and than laughed). He said "No I'm just kidding." He was always making people laugh and feel at ease in his presence. A true servant of God. We loved him and will miss him.

I found this great blog on my sis-in-laws blog. I love it. It is interesting to read and has some great pictures. This 30year old woman lives in a one room cabin in Wyoming. And has a cat and a coyote for pets. She has raised the coyote since it was a pup. It is so cute. I love reading her new experiance's. So go take a look. The daily coyote. I have the link over to the left.

Jack is King of the Hill. Today we had a big
bon fire. Jack told me he had to go to the
bathroom. So I told him that he could just
pee on the fire. He said if he did that his
wee wee would burn off and his pee would
just fall out.

My friend Connie sent me the best blog with yummy recipies. You have to chekc it out. It's over to the left. Called Yummy recipies.

Jack and I always have so much fun.
Oscar thinks we are crazy.

My sis-in-law told me I had to write this story. Jack and I were headed out to dinner with friends and Connie asked Jack how school was?. Jack told her this "There was this boy Matthew who had a big booger in his nose. I told him he needed to pick it out. But he was scared it was going to bleed". It was such a proud moment.

This is the story of the week, hmmm maybe the month. We'll see the month isn't over yet. In Jack's kindergarten class, the teacher asked all the kids to say something about Martin Luther King day. So one of the girls in Jack's class stood up and said "I know something. Once you go black you never go back".

I think my life would make an interesting sitcom. So I will try to keep you entertained as you read.
