The Fight

I picked up Jack form school today. And we had the usual conversation. "How was school? fine, How was reading group? fine" Than Jack looked at me and said "Mom"....pause....."I got in a fight today." Completely serious. Than he starts laughing. "Just kidding Mom".

The River

We went down to the river after school. It's

only a couple miles down the road. So fun.

Almost done. This is when it was only half done.

But all the cupboards are in now. I will have

countertops in on Thursday. So hopefully by

Friday I will have pictures of the completed kitchen.

tore out our kitchen cabinets to make

room for the new ones.

Moving again???

Before pictures. From this picture you can't

see the warped drawers or the mice poo that

I had to vaccum and wipe out before putting

ANYTHING in the kitchen. When we got the

cabinets out we found a mouse nest and a lot

of droppings. Oh and a mouse skeleton stuck

to the floor!!! We also found the previous

owners stash of Brandy and Peach Schnapps.

We found bottles under the cabinets.

During the tear down. I will take pictures

when it is all done. I'm so excited!!

WINTER FUN

A little winter fun. Jack was out of school early

today. So we got out the 4 wheeler

and had some fun in the backyard.

CHICKENS......

I am so excited!! We are going to get chickens. They will be ready the end of April. It's going to be so fun. We have a shed we are turning into a chicken house. And there is a lady in our ward who rasies chickens and sells eggs. She showed me her set up and how she does it. She has a rooster (we are not having one) who is huge. He claws are massive and he struts around and cockadoodles all the time. His name is George. We really don't have to do that much to get ready. We have all the fencing and the chicken house. We need to get hay and a heat lamp (cause it's cold here) and a place for them to nest.

Dog Wrestling

Today I wrestled with Jacks dog. She is so cute...

but so much work. Her hair is always growing

and you have to keep around thier eyes shaved

or she can't see. So she wouldn't talk to me for

about a half hour. She went and sat on Jacks

bed. And everytime I got close she just gave me

the eye.

A man and his best friend

I forgot that you blog stalkers out there don't

know about Maggie. She is the newest addition

to our family. We got her from the dumb friends

league in Colorado. This is "Matt's" dog.

They thought she is about 3 yrs old.

She thinks she is a lap dog.

So when Matt is home she has to be in his

lap. We love her.

Hi everyone...Sorry I've been gone for a little. But I'm back. So round up the kiddies and make some popcorn...(ok not really). We've been in our new home for a couple of months and have settled in nicely. I have heard from more than a few of you that you miss my blog. So I will try to come up with interesting things to blog about again. Stay tuned.
